The Stormwater Management and Climate Change Adaptation Project 2 aims to reduce flood risks in peri-urban Dakar and enhance urban flood risk planning and management in selected Senegalese cities. The project integrates climate risk and sustainability into urban planning and management, supports drainage investments, engages communities, and strengthens emergency response capacity.

The proposed revised development objective is to (i) improve the living conditions of host communities and refugees in selected areas, and (ii) enhance the social and economic integration of host communities and refugees. The project will plant trees alongside constructed roads to mitigate climate change impacts.

The objective of the Jiangxi Poyang Lake Basin and Ecological Economic Zone Small Town Development Project for China is to improve key public services in participating small towns of Jiangxi Province through improvements to prioritized infrastructure. The project has three components. (1) Transport infrastructure improvement component will fund the construction and upgrading of about 76 km of urban and country roads including some bridges in selected counties/cities, and construction of a new urban central bus station in Gongqingcheng City.

The development objective of the Climate Resilient Infrastructure for Urban Flood Risk Management Project for Argentina is to reduce flood risk in selected cities and improve integrated urban flood risk management in Argentina, and act effectively in case of an eligible crisis or emergency. The project comprises of four components.

The development objective of the Can Tho Urban Development and Resilience Project for Vietnam is to reduce flood risk in the urban core area, improve connectivity between the city center and the new low risk urban growth areas, and enhance the capacity of city authorities to manage disaster risk in Can Tho city. The project comprises of three components. The first component, flood risk management and environmental sanitation objective is to reduce flood related risks in the urban core of Can Tho.

The objective of the Inclusive and Resilient Cities Development Project for Cameroon is to improve urban management and access to infrastructure in selected urban areas, particularly for poor neighborhoods, and increase resilience to natural hazards and other eligible crises. There are four components to the project, the first component being strengthening capacity for inclusive and resilient urban management. The second component is the improving connectivity and living environment in beneficiary cities.

The objective of the Stormwater Management and Urban Resilience Project for Benin is to reduce flood risks in selected areas of Cotonou and strengthen urban resilience management and capacity at the city level. There are three components to the project, the first component being storm water drainage investment and community engagement for flood risk reduction and climate change adaptation. The second component is the strengthening urban resilience management and capacity. Finally, the third component is the project management, monitoring and evaluation.

The development objective of the Bamako Urban Resilience Project for Mali is to improve access to urban waste, sanitation, and water services, increase resilience to floods in selected vulnerable areas of the district of Bamako and targeted neighboring communes, and strengthen urban management capacity. The project comprises of six components.

The development objectives of Asuncion Riverfront Urban Resilience Project for Paraguay are to improve living conditions for targeted vulnerable households and to increase resilience in selected areas in the riverfront of Asunción. This project has four components.
