The project will deploy NBS to enhance climate resilience of road infrastructure. Tree and grass planting for roadway protection and slope stabilization will be used to protect the road and its drainage system.

The Mozambique Social Protection Project aims to provide temporary income support to extremely poor households and establish the foundation of a social safety net system. Key components include institutional strengthening for the implementation of the national basic social security strategy and labor-intensive public works programs in rural and urban areas.
