The Senegal Higher Education Project - Espoir-Jeunes aims to increase equitable access to market-relevant vocational tertiary education, improve governance in higher education, and support research. The project will include climate-resilient designs, such as afforestation and tree planting around schools, and focuses on constructing and modernizing vocational institutes to meet labor market demands

The Securing Uganda’s Natural Resource Base in Protected Areas Project aims to improve sustainable management of protected areas and enhance community benefits in response to COVID-19 impacts. The project focuses on improving forest management, tree planting to mitigate fire risks, and supporting biodiversity conservation.

The development objective of the Second Phase of the Conservation Areas (CA) for Biodiversity and Development Project for Mozambique is to improve management of target conservation area landscapes and enhance the living conditions of communities in and around these conservation areas. The project comprises of three components.

To promote integrated environmental management of selected coastal watersheds as a means to conserve biodiversity, contribute to climate change mitigation, and enhance sustainable land use. Financed subprojects included restoration of coral reef, watershed management, soil conservation, restoration of forests, and agroforestry.

The development objective of the Territorial Development and Resilience Project for Chad is to improve access to infrastructure, basic services, and economic opportunities, and enhance local institutions capacity for local service delivery in selected areas of Chad. The project comprises of four components.

The objectives of the Refugees and Host Communities Support Project for Chad are to improve access of refugees and host communities to basic services, livelihoods, and safety nets, and strengthen country systems to manage refugees. There are four components to the project, the first component being improving access to basic services. This component will support improved access to basic services, particularly health and education, with investments to rehabilitate or build new public service infrastructure in targeted areas, and to manage operation of the facilities.

The Project Development Objective is to design and support the uptake of innovative models for valuing mangrove, seagrass and coralreef ecosystem services with the potential to enhance the sustainability of marine-based enterprise and marine spatial planning in select coastal communities in Indonesia and the Philippines. The project  developed a myriad of tools to help capture the benefits of mangroves, seagrass, and coral reefs , and ensured these would be adopted broadly through workshops and dissemination. 

The development objective of the Second Southeast Asia Disaster Risk Management Project for Cambodia is to improve the disaster and climate resilience of flood-damaged rural roads in target areas, improve the capacity of the Government to prepare for and respond to emergencies, and provide immediate and effective response in case of an eligible crisis or emergency. The project comprises of four components.

The Project Development Objectives (PDO) of the Argentina Buenos Aires – Mitre Passenger Railway Line Modernization Project are to: (a) improve the reliability and safety of the Mitre Line; and (b) increase accessibility in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires. The proposed project has three components, all three components contribute to climate mitigation and incorporate climate adaptation measures to enhance the resilience of the railway system in Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.

To improve accessibility in the area of influence of the Belgrano Sur Line in an inclusive, safe, and environmentally sustainable manner; and to respond effectively in case of an Eligible Crisis or Emergency. The project supports the installation of green spaces with rainwater collection.
