The development objective of Resilient and Inclusive Housing Project is to improve the quality of housing and public space for vulnerable households, including migrants from Venezuela, in selected municipalities. This project has three components. 1) The first component, Improve Homes and Neighborhoods for Low-Income Household, has the following sub-components: (i) Supporting Subsidy Schemes to Improve Housing Quality; and (ii) Improving Living Conditions in Selected Neighborhoods. 2) The second component, : Institutional Strengthening to Improve Homes and Neighborhoods, will finance technical assistance to build capacity of the (Ministry of Housing, City, and Territory (MVCT) and its main counterparts, including municipalities affected by the migration from Venezuela. 3) The third component, Project Management, will finance the creation and staffing of a Project Implementation Unit (PIU) within the MVCT, which will be responsible for procurement, financial management (FM), social and environmental standards, and monitoring impact. The project finances NBS for coastal resilience through improved coastal and marine protected areas management.
