Nature-Based Solutions for Disaster Risk Management: Urban Flooding and Stormwater Hazards

This presentation is part of a suite of informative and communications materials prepared for the World Bank on Nature-based Solutions (NBS). These resources were designed for the World Bank and its network of partners to understand how NBS can enhance their investment portfolio, and how to consider and utilize these solutions. The presentation describes a set of NBS that can protect, restore, and/or manage urban ecosystems to safeguard communities, and enhance development project performance. It also discusses the challenges and limitations of the solutions presented.
