The Sustainable and Inclusive Secondary Cities Project in Côte d’Ivoire aims to improve access to green and climate-resilient infrastructure and basic services while strengthening local government capacity for climate risk-informed urban and economic planning. The project supports investments in roads, water, sanitation, solid waste management, and social infrastructure to promote inclusive and sustainable urban development.

The South Sudan Resilient Agricultural Livelihoods Project strengthens the capacity of farmers and their organizations to improve agricultural production. It supports climate resilience through agroforestry and tree planting on degraded landscapes, while also enhancing food security, seed availability, and farming practices.

The Social Safety Net Project in Comoros aims to increase access to safety net, nutrition, and community services for poor communities. The project includes cash-for-work opportunities like reforestation, preventive nutrition services, and the establishment of a safety net management system to enhance community resilience and reduce vulnerability to climatic events.

The Smart Government II Project aims to improve the usability of online public services, enhance their efficiency, and increase digital skills and job opportunities in Mongolia. The project will support digital transformation initiatives, improve cybersecurity, and provide training for citizens and SMEs to boost the digital economy

The SL Second Inclusive and Sustainable DPF aims to improve natural resource governance, enhance inclusiveness, and strengthen public finance transparency. The project supports wetlands restoration, afforestation, and the rehabilitation of mined-out lands to promote climate resilience, carbon capture, and ecosystem restoration.

The Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project aims to rehabilitate critical infrastructure, provide short-term livelihood support, and strengthen Sindh’s capacity to manage climate change impacts and natural hazards. The project integrates Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), including wetland restoration, vegetative riverbank protection, and greening initiatives, into hybrid flood risk management strategies.

The Sierra Leone, Productive Social Safety Nets and Youth Employment Project aims to improve access to social safety nets and provide income-generating opportunities for targeted beneficiaries. The project involves youth in productive public works, such as tree planting and land restoration, to address landslide risks and improve climate resilience.

The Shock Responsive and Resilient Social Safety Net Project aims to provide emergency cash transfers and improve resilience among vulnerable households in Comoros. The project supports cash-for-work programs for water conservation, landscape management, and reforestation, addressing shocks and enhancing community resilience.

The Securing Uganda’s Natural Resource Base in Protected Areas Project aims to improve sustainable management of protected areas and enhance community benefits in response to COVID-19 impacts. The project focuses on improving forest management, tree planting to mitigate fire risks, and supporting biodiversity conservation.

The development objective of the Emergency Locust Response Project (ELRP) for Eastern Africa is to respond to the threat posed by the locust outbreak and to strengthen systems for preparedness. The project comprises of five components. The first component, surveillance and control measures will strengthen the capacity of agriculture staff at the national, state, and county levels and of communities in locust-affected areas by providing appropriate equipment, technology, and training on locust identification, swarm management techniques, and damage assessment.
