Agriculture and Natural Resources Landscape Management

The project's objective is to improve the livelihoods of rural households and the sustainability of natural resources in the program area. The project is part of the wider landscape management program, which will aim to integrate rural households into sustainable agriculture and forest-based value chains in the provinces of Nampula and Zambezia. The project will engage in the following components, 1) the development of agriculture and forest-based value chains; and 2) securing land tenure rights and increasing natural resources resilience – which will amongst other priorities work towards reducing topsoil erosion, land degradation and biodiversity protection.
