The Project Development Objectives (PDO) of the Argentina Buenos Aires – Mitre Passenger Railway Line Modernization Project are to: (a) improve the reliability and safety of the Mitre Line; and (b) increase accessibility in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires. The proposed project has three components, all three components contribute to climate mitigation and incorporate climate adaptation measures to enhance the resilience of the railway system in Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.
