The development objective of the Sustainable Agriculture Productivity Improvement Project for Timor-Leste is to increase the productivity and marketed production of smallholder agriculture in selected geographical locations in Timor-Leste. The project comprises of six components.
The objective of the Integrated Water Security and Sanitation Program Multiphase Programmatic Approach (MPA) Including Phase 1 Credit for the Integrated Water Security and Sanitation Project for Senegal is to improve access to safe water supply and sanitation, and to increase resilience to flood and drought risks. There are four components to the project, the first component being water resources management and protection.
The objective of the Emergency Connectivity Restoration Project for Rwanda is to restore the connectivity in areas of Rwanda affected by floods and landslides in a climate-resilient manner. There are four components to the project, the first component being rehabilitation and repair of damaged transport infrastructure in a resilient and safe manner. This component includes four subcomponents: rehabilitation of national roads, rehabilitation of district roads, and rehabilitation of bridges.
The development objective of the First Phase of the Provincial and Local Roads Improvement Program Project for Nepal is to enhance inclusive connectivity, efficiency, resilience, and safety of the selected provincial and local road network and strengthen the capacity of the federal government, participating provinces, and participating local levels. The project comprises of five components.
The development objective of the Climate Resilient Roads for the North Project for Mozambique is to improve climate resilient road connectivity in the Northern Provinces of Mozambique. The project comprises of four components. The first component, climate resilient road connectivity improvement will support the improvement of roads and bridges in the north. It consists of following sub-components: (i) improvement and maintenance of road network; and (ii) construction of bridges.
The project aims to enhance the climate and disaster resilience of critical public infrastructure and strengthen disaster risk management capacity in Uttarakhand. The project will reduce landslide risks through bioengineering solutions and mitigate fire hazards by restoring degraded land.
The development objective of the Assam Resilient Rural Bridges Program for India is to build green, inclusive, and resilient connectivity in rural Assam and strengthen the Assam Public Works Roads Department’s (APWRD) roads and bridges management capability.
The development objective of the Water Security Project for Burkina Faso is to improve the safety of dams, access to associated irrigation and watershed services, and climate resilience for beneficiaries. The project comprises of six components. The first component, security and climate resilience of water storage infrastructures will support the securitization of priority dam infrastructure to ensure continued access to and valorization of the associated water resources, building flood, and drought resilience.
The project development objective is to improve institutional capacity for urban management and access to select infrastructure and services, as well as to socio-economic opportunities in Kinshasa. The project will build urban resilience by implementing nature-based drainage solutions (improved infiltration) for roads and designing green public spaces.
