The Senegal River Basin Multi-Purpose Water Resources Development (MWRD2) Project was the second phase of a 10-year program designed to enhance regional integration among the countries of the Senegal River Basin for multi-purpose water resources development, to foster improved community livelihoods. The MWRD2 Project Development Objective was to improve coordinated management of water resources for socially, environmentally and economically sustainable development in the Senegal River Basin.

The objective of the Volcanoes Community Resilience Project for Rwanda is to reduce the risk of flooding, strengthen watershed management, and improve livelihoods of people in the project area. There are five components to the project, the first component being flood risk management. This component seeks to reduce flood risks in the Volcano and Vunga corridor by implementing comprehensive flood risk reduction interventions and by improving flood early warning systems (FEWS) and community-level flood preparedness.

The development objective of the Jambi Sustainable Landscape Management Project for Indonesia is to improve sustainable landscape management that reduces land-based greenhouse gas emissions in selected sites in Jambi province.
